“I’m going to let him go wild on health. I’m going to let him go wild on the food. I’m going to let him go wild on the medicines. The only thing I’m not going to let him even get near is the liquid gold that we have under our feet.”
Donald Trump campaigning with Robert F. Kennedy jr at Madison Square Garden
Bobby picked the winning horse, and may have won the trifecta. Don’t cash that ticket just yet, because Trump’s transition team was already throwing the brakes on RFK jr as Sec. of HHS. (Now, he’s back on as nominee, which seems like a double reverse to confuse the defense). The EPA and USDA are awash in toxic petrochemicals, and Trump’s team is rapidly assigning other seats to clowns and scolds. Secretary of Education is supposedly a dead end job, although as the child knows the adult grows.
Since Kennedy is on Trump’s transition team, I’m going out on a flexible limb to predict he won’t be formally appointed to the cabinet. That takes 50 votes in the Senate, and it’s not only Trump who demands loyalty above principle and ability. The Democrat’s Biden Blunder and Joy Joy Joy ploy prove that, and most Republicans are leery about upsetting their base.
Even during the 12 days of Xmas recess will be a hard pitch. The “life sciences investment ecosystem” is screaming in terror about Kennedy heading the FDA that approves “medicines” or HHS that pays for them. Any delay from Warp Speed makes institutional investors more hesitant about “biologicals”, than mRNA covaxxes made the public. Employees are squealing like rats fleeing the doomed ship.
The Donald might find it humorous to appoint Bobby as a special counselor with floating authority like Elon Musk. They can lead the media on Pied Piper press club adventures, while nefarious negatives burrow below scampering feet. Nothing new there.
Bobby and the Richest Man in the World, podcasting with Barron Trump and brofluencers. Ivanka whispering in Daddy’s ear while serving up Whoppers, (while Big Mac’s sorting out bugs in the system). Hanging out in the New Broom Closet sounds less dangerous than meeting in Trump’s Cabinet.
The change up Kennedy threw the media was brilliant. Tweeting, (is it still called that on X?), that his first act would take on fluoride. Stenographers ridiculing vaccine heresy, now have to defend lower IQ’s for children. The two are inextricably intertwined in “public health” mythinformation, with both rated in their Top Ten achievements of the 20th century. Both lower IQ’s in children. You’re too smart for your own good is a public health message. Switch hitting has to go non-binary.
Obviously, only a “science denialist” would measure the medical risks of pouring toxic waste from the phosphate mining industry, (that the EPA forbids dumping in public waterways) into drinking water.
Dosing 80% of Americans with a neurotoxin for purported benefits of decreasing dental cavities in youth, is a fifty year experiment with few controls. Every European country except Ireland bans it, with full sets of teeth. Caries correlate with income, education and affordable dental care, not fluoride.
It’s fascinating to watch the medical masts corporate journalists tie themselves to, swaying between the sirens of Big Pharma=Vaxxes and Phosphate=Big Ag. As entertaining as watching Democratic campaign consultants, PAC bundlers, candidate handlers and political pundits explain how their Unsinkable Titania foundered on the Iceberg of Submerged Support for the Orange Hitler. The knives are coming out on whom to blame, but there’s a full house of blunders.
President Trump has been compared to Biblical figures like King David (or Goliath) and Samson (the Delilah thing) pulling down the temple. I find more resonance in King Henry the VIII. The wives and women, of course. Hank’s given credit for kickstarting the modern age of mercantilism, rooting out idolatry and corruption in the Holy Roman Church, looting them for rich lands, cashable treasures, and eliminating public heath hospitals for the poor. Rewarding his loyal allies, beheading his enemies and boy barren wives. All with the help of ruthless lawyers like Oliver Cromwell, willing and able to use the rule of laws.
Bobby’s most useful role may be to play the Faithful Fool, Will Somerset. The liberal media will exhaust themselves delivering up “indepth investigative” reporting on RFK jr and Elon Musk’s latest follies, ignoring the most devious and dangerous antics of Trump’s other appointments.
Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are forming a waste cutting team they call DOGE, bringing to mind the Venetian system of snitching through the Mouth of the Lion, anonymous drop boxes bringing the full power of legal authority on any accused. Hopefully, their whistleblowers will have to provide more evidence before burning heretics at the stake. Think of the carbon footprints, never mind.
Great insight. Interesting times. I'd be happy if RFK Jr would just have the platform to draw more and more attention to things. Ultimately, people need to start making choices for themselves... *regardless* of what the government says we should be eating, drinking, smoking, or what medicines are shot into ourselves and our children. The blind trust in these agencies by the American people is what keeps them going. If people just stopped listening to them, they would become more like the winter fly that buzzes around trying to find a warm spot... an annoyance. But, again, the people need to decide. Do they want some giant agency telling them what to do with their bodies? Or do they want to decide that for themselves? I mean, come on, these agencies records are dismal. A disgrace. If a private sector agency had the same record, people would reject it. But, for some reason, as long as it's tied to the federal Government people just feel some kind of sick loyalty to doing what that agency says! (Baffling!) I, for one, will continue rejecting *everything* I can. Doing my part.
