“I’m afraid Senator Obama doesn’t understand the difference
between a tactic and a strategy…. And this strategy [the surge],
and this general, they are winning….
There is social, economic progress, and a strategy of going into an area,
clearing and holding, and the people of the county become allied with you….
That’s what’s happening in Iraq and it wasn’t a tactic.”
John McCain, 2008 presidential debate
“…I absolutely understand the difference
between tactics and strategy.
And the strategic question that the president has to ask
is not whether or not we are employing a particular approach in the country
once we have made the decision to be there.
The question is, was this wise?”
Barak Obama’s Rope a Dope rebuttal.
So you never knew
How low you’d stoop to make that call
And you never knew
What was on the ground ‘till they made you crawl
Please

Get up off your knees
U2. Please, 1997
This is a war with an implacable enemy. A leviathan with almost unlimited resources and the will to power. It’s battle cry is “Never Enough!” We are the fringe element that has gotten off its knees. However that will not keep us from being mowed down. There have been many skirmishes and a long history of truth martyrs and heroes, being cut down by defamy or death. We must know the enemy to even hope to grievously weaken it and send it scurrying back to lick its wounds and brood. Defeating it is The Long War.
We are independent individuals by definition. As hard to organize as herding cats. It can be done, I’ve seen it in Key West.
We may not agree on many other things than our opposition to forced injections. We will choose many different ways to resist and persuade others that this is acceptable, well within the bell curve of deviance from the norm. Only crawlers can be easily scapegoated. Much of wrestling takes place on your knees, so stay low if you must. We can find our own tactics to stand up for our right to refuse. Not all are effective. Strategies fail.
We may find our hope, energy and faith embedded in muddy fields of struggle. Treading the same bloodied grounds in the same ways as those who fought before us. Any light in the fog of war is welcome, but some will be swamp gaslighting. Mine fields and barbed wire, where bodies never leave.
Nuremberg Trials or Bust
Many online comments have been calling for future Nuremberg or International Criminal Court show trials. I would love to see Saint Fraudci and Widemouth Gates behind a plexiglass screen, but wouldn’t that also mean new “ratlines”, the Deep State spiriting out scientists, spies and treasures from the ruins of the Third Reich? Those trials were historic, coming at the end of ten years of total war in Europe, with cities razed and populations killed, starved or refugees.
Those Medical Laws were carved in stone, but that rock is eroded, its hieroglyphs mossy with age. The Nipponese War Crimes trial ended in a hung jury, primarily because the U.S. dropped two nuclear weapons on the island aggressor. More ICC defendants have died in custody during decades long show trials than have been found guilty and hung.
Other legal challenges have a better chance of being heard. Any person can file a federal appeal in federal courts. Prisoners do it in pen and pencil and must be heard. Civil courts and small claims courts don’t need a lawyer to file, although some legal knowledge comes in handy. Medical bills or lost wages can be enjoined against the perpetrators. Losing these show trials will clog the courts like Canadian truckers in their capital. Some will be fruitful, for those with a taste for trials.
Talking With or Talking Over
I salute those who brave the injustice gauntlet. Lao Tsu or Mao Tsu might have said, fight with your strengths, armor your weaknesses. My strength is arguing, in person or print. I enjoy it and once won both sides of a class debate, when the assigned opposition team member was absent. However, logical persuasion off this entrenched position is as deadly a tactic as charging uphill. Particularly with those who derive power, authority and wealth from it. Work your way up by Socratic Questioning of the ignorant undecided before entangling with the already boosted, or an authoritarian doctor. Hone your sparring skills, retain courtesy, don’t expect concurrence.
When debating or speaking, even exhorting adoring crowds at a protest, best not to use the holocaust in any metaphor. Don’t double down by drawing fire from more powerful foes. Big Pharma, Corporate Presstitutes and Progressive Politicians are in bed together seems both sexy and repulsive. Stalin’s show trials or forced psychiatric drugging of dissenters and Mao’s Cultural Revolution are useful analogies. Not mentioning kosher cows will save abject apologies to appease Shoah Business, or your wife.
For the same reason, self identifying as “Pureblood” is not advised. Since placental blood is contaminated with over one hundred toxic chemicals, and American adults would be too contaminated to sell for human consumption, none of us are pure. Stick to selling liver cleansing protocols and detox herbs.
Anti-vaxxers, Safer Vaxxers, the vaccine hesitant gain nothing except bodily autonomy. We might stay on the sidelines, if left alone. That’s challenged on utilitarian, communitarian grounds. We’re selfish and stupid, deplorables and lepers to be. Endangering the public health, the greater good, old, sick people. Those who can’t be vaxxed, because of medical damage. None of this is true, not even logical. Try to explain away a century of Vaccine Myths in 140 keystrokes or a dozen spoken words.
We need viral memes, a memorized zinger, a comeback with a rimshot. They challenge the narrative, slide like a diamond blade through the cracks in the armor where a thousand words, an hour’s video or blog won’t fit. Creating Doubts that seep in through the blocks, like rain freezing inside of stone. Do it online and in person. Make bumper stickers and put them on doctors and politicians cars. Subliminal Stickers on pedestrian cross walks. Create or Reuse memes, spread them like psylocybin spores. Not all will fruit in fertile manure.
Anyone for Pumpkin Pie?
Unfortunately, Humor and Humiliation is not a winning tactic. Yet, I enjoy them, and people persist when they gain pleasure. Laughing is hard to throttle and extremely healthy as a stress defusor, but victims hate being humiliated. When inoculation injured finally admit they were wrong, don’t make them walk the gang plank. Guide them to the supplements, herbs, practices you believe will heal. Personal experience of recovery is our most supportive advice. They will be the most committed mates.
The earliest anti-vaxxers were the parents of disabled children whose pediatricians adamantly denied their jabs were the cause. Freaky health and wellness hippies of the 70’s and extreme Protestant sects were on board. When yearly flu vaxxes rolled out, damaged adults joined forces. Over time all these groups have grown, but this covid crisis has hardened the lines and expanded our troops.
We are not natural allies. May have no other beliefs or motivations in common. That will be used against our alliance. We might want to avoid certain topics, like relatives at holiday gatherings, since banned.
Pointing out Hypocrisy can backfire. Pro-choice progressives demanding totalitarian inoculations vs anti-abortion evangelists standing up for bodily autonomy. Each believes they are not moral equivalents, and feel repulsed by the other. Yet, yoga crystal healers are rowing with bible thumpers in a small boat. Both will have to pull in sync for this battle. Teamwork is a skill. That’s a strategy, or is it a tactic?
pine nuts swear by pine needle tea, dandelion root.
I saw the sunset celebration in Key West back in 1971 or so. Delightful ceremony! Glad to know it continues!
Herbal remedies against the vax? One can always hope I guess but it doesn’t look good.
